JIMMY R.M. HARRIS

Jimmy Harris is a small business owner, writer,  chaos coordinator, and father of two wildly energetic boys in the misty forests of the Pacific Northwest. He lives in Union, Washington with his husband Michael, their sons Tucker and Grayson, a Great Pyrenees named Brandon, who sheds enough fur annually to construct at least one additional dog, and a couple of cats who don't like each other.

He and his family own multiple coffee shop cafés, gift shops, and an ice cream store… despite openly admitting he hates coffee. He does, however, love the smell of coffee, the atmosphere of cafés, and the way people connect over local small businesses. Which is probably how he accidentally ended up owning too many of them.

When he’s not juggling businesses, writing fantasy adventures, or trying to explain to employees why he accidentally ordered soccer balls the size of small cars for their shop windows, he spends his time exploring Hood Canal trails, staring out the window when it's raining, obsessing over storytelling, and building immersive worlds inspired by folklore, mystery, and the eerie beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Jimmy is also the author of The Neverdale Chronicles, a debut series born from his lifelong love of fantasy, strange history, atmospheric legends, and the question:

“What if fairy tales weren’t stories… and magic was real?”

He believes humor is a survival skill, bookstores should smell slightly haunted, and every town deserves at least one infamous cryptid like Mossquatch in the Quinault Valley.

Also, for the record, he still thinks owning coffee shops when you hate coffee is objectively hilarious.
